摘要

Abstract

In a semiclassical approach, we investigate the superradiation of two parallel ultra-thin layers doped with active centers exhibiting Λ-scheme operation transitions in an absorbing medium. The initial population of the upper state of the active centers varies from full inversion to inversion-less superradiation regimes. We demonstrate the resonant influence of interlayer interference of counterpropagating waves on the intensity dynamics of the fields emitted from the bilayer system, depending on the phase factor characterizing the distance between the layers. In this model, both relaxation processes associated with homogeneous and inhomogeneous broadening of the spectral lines of the active centers are taken into account.
