Increasing the Electrical Strength and Operation Stability of a Small-Sized Ion Accelerator

Abstract
The work is devoted to the study of the ion-plasma cleaning effect on electrical strength and operation stability of a small-sized ion accelerator. To determine the processing parameters, the dynamics of the glow discharge in the geometry of the accelerator processed parts was modeled, and experimental studies were also carried out. According to the research results, it is shown that the use of ion-plasma cleaning in the manufacture of the device allows to increase its electrical strength and operation stability.
