Formation of a Volumetric Glow Discharge of Atmospheric Pressure in a Non-Uniform Electric Field
摘要
Abstract
A volumetric glow discharge at atmospheric pressure was experimentally realized in the electrode configuration of a thin metal wire—a metal mesh with a dielectric barrier in argon. It is shown that in the mode of an atmospheric pressure glow discharge, the discharge is observed in the form of a homogeneous, independent discharge, filling most of the discharge area and covering the entire interelectrode distance.
