Threshold Values of Parameters of the Electronic Irradiation of Glass Leading to Electrostatic Discharges
摘要
Abstract
Experimental data are presented on the minimum values of energies and flux densities of electrons whose impact on the cover glasses of solar panels and reflecting elements of the thermoradiators of artificial Earth satellites produces electrostatic discharges. It is established that adding protons to the particle flux acting on the studied samples can suppress the development of discharges. A mathematical model is proposed for a qualitative interpretation of the obtained results.
