Long-Lived Recurrent Fluxes of Energetic Ions from Coronal Holes on the Sun
摘要
Abstract
Results are presented from studying the relative abundances and energy spectra of 4He, C, O, and Fe suprathermal ions in particle fluxes from long-lived near-equatorial coronal holes. It is found that the ion energy spectra have a power or exponential form. Increased particle fluxes are observed in a number of events in the region of low ion energies (~0.2–1.5 MeV/nucleon), creating fractures in the spectra that could be due to additional ions accelerated beyond 1 au.
