Magnetism and the Magnetic Phase Transition in Diamagnetically Diluted Superstrong ε-In0.04Fe1.96O3 Magnet Nanowires
摘要
Abstract
Temperature dependences of the magnetization of ε-In0.04Fe1.96O3 nanoparticles are measured in the cooling and heating modes. An abrupt drop in the nanoparticle magnetization at a temperature of 150 K is observed. It is shown that the observed magnetic phase transition is accompanied by the reversal of magnetization, due to a first-order spin-reorientation transition. Experimental results are described using a thermodynamic approach.
