A Migdal Jump in the Quantum Hall Mode
摘要
Abstract
The distribution function of particles over Landau levels is calculated in two-dimensional electron systems at high values of Wigner–Seits parameter rs and in the mode of the quantum Hall effect. At low filling factors, the tail of the distribution function and the magnitude of the Migdal jump differ qualitatively from a Fermi liquid in a zero magnetic field. The Fermi-liquid distortion of the distribution function is strongly suppressed by the existence of a cyclotron energy gap.
