Generation of Optical-Terahertz Solitons by a Few-Cycle Laser Pulse
摘要
Abstract
An extremely short laser pulse of high intensity is used to consider the generation of broadband terahertz radiation. A numerical model of the generalized Yajima–Oikawa system shows that in contrast to a quasi-monochromatic process, the Kerr nonlinearity plays an important role for a few-cycle pulse in the generation of an optical-terahertz soliton when its dispersion is considered.
