Frequency Up-Conversion of an Even Coherent State

Abstract
The problem of transferring the state of even coherent states from a low to a high frequency is considered theoretically using a periodically-poled nonlinear crystal. The Wigner quasi-probability distribution function is used to study the parallel realization of two nonlinear processes: parametric and the generation sum frequencies.
