Biological Properties and Use of Polyazolidine Ammonium Modified by Iodide Hydrate

Abstract
The paper presents the materials on studying antimicrobial activity of a polymer compound, polyazolidine ammonium modified by iodide hydrate, against standard and clinical strains of opportunistic microorganisms, and measuring its toxicity by bioassay and laboratory animals. Our results substantiated the prospects of using this polymer as a disinfectant for water treatment.
