Abstract

The effect of γ-irradiation (⁶⁰Co) in the dose range from 2 to 50 Gy on the morphological (length of the sprout and length of the main root) and biochemical parameters (the content of photosynthetic pigments—chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, and carotenoids) of sprouts of irradiated seeds of the common barley variety Vityaz was studied.
