Abstract <p><i>Podosphaera</i>, a genus of powdery mildew fungi, poses a significant threat to various economically valuable plants by causing characteristic white or grayish mildew, which can severely impact crop yield and plant health. In this study, we characterized <i>Podosphaera</i> species infecting <i>Epilobium aitchisonii</i>, <i>Filipendula ulmaria</i>, and <i>Nepeta cataria</i> in Battagram (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Fairy Meadows (Gilgit Baltistan), and Leepa Valley (Hattian Bala, Azad Jammu &amp; Kashmir), Pakistan, respectively. Morphological examination and phylogenetic analysis based on the ITS region of ribosomal DNA identified the causal agents as <i>Podosphaera epilobii</i>, <i>P. filipendulae</i>, and <i>P. macrospora</i>, which are new records for Pakistan. While <i>P. filipendulae</i> is already known to infect <i>Filipendula ulmaria</i> in Europe, this study represents its first record from Pakistan. Additionally, <i>P. macrospora</i>, previously reported mainly on Saxifragaceae, is documented here for the first time on <i>Nepeta cataria</i> (Lamiaceae), expanding its known host range. These findings highlight the importance of monitoring and managing powdery mildew infections to mitigate their impact on economically important plants across different regions of Pakistan.</p>
