Analytical Methods for Determining the Impurity Composition of High-Purity Selenium

Abstract
The review summarizes the known methods for determining impurities in high-purity selenium, including molecular compounds, elemental contaminants, and heterophase inclusions as particles. It describes sampling procedures and the specific features of impurity determination by infrared spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, gas chromatography, chromatography–mass spectrometry, neutron activation analysis, atomic emission and atomic absorption spectrometry, and laser ultramicroscopy.
