Abstract <p>Some possible applications of traditional artificial intelligence techniques and methods to problems of Big Data analysis and decision-making support are discussed. An approach is presented that implements intelligent data analysis (IDA) based on the computer-oriented formalization of the so-called causal similarity heuristics. Capabilities of combinatorial enumeration control implemented within the developed version of IDA are explored.</p>
