Abstract

This article discusses the application of computer vision technologies to the analysis of X-ray images for the diagnosis of traumatic diseases, with an emphasis on the classification of pathologies of the spine and hip joints, in particular, the Hip-Spine syndrome. The importance of automating the diagnostic process to simplify the work of traumatologists and improve the accuracy of pathology determination is emphasized. This article describes a method and the developed software that analyzes X-ray images, including segmentation of the spine, structuring, and determination of key points, as well as the calculation of curvature angles and degrees of deviation. The presented approach demonstrates the potential of computer vision in the accurate classification of the Hip-Spine syndrome, which is an important area in modern medical diagnostics. The software results allow us to determine the type of Hip-Spine syndrome and the degree of necessary correction, which is one of the important factors in effective therapy and r patient rehabilitation.
