Abstract <p>The results of the analysis of tasks and methods of intelligent decision support based on fuzzy situational and cognitive approaches are presented. A method for polymorphic hybridization of fuzzy situational-network and fuzzy cognitive models is proposed that provides structural-parametric correspondence of these models; convergence and interdependence of procedures for constructing and adjusting these models within a single polymorphic model; and joint interdependent use of fuzzy situational-network and fuzzy cognitive models for intelligent decision-making support. Varieties of soft situational-cognitive models aimed at performing tasks of intellectual support for decision making are proposed.</p>
