Abstract <p>The paper reviews the main scientific results of the XXVI International Conference “Data Analytics and Management in Data Intensive Domains” (DAMDID/RCDL-2024), held in Nizhny Novgorod, Russian Federation, from October 23 to 25, 2024. The motivation and objectives of the conference, as well as its main thematic areas and related conferences, are discussed. The program for this year’s conference, including topics of invited and session reports, is characterized. Conclusions are drawn on the basis of an analysis of the conference’s scientific contributions. A list of papers selected by the conference program committee for a special issue of the journal is included. These papers are devoted to application of methods for feature extraction, deep learning, statistical methods for image processing, biomedical signals, audio recordings, and problems related to data classification, clustering, segmentation, object detection, and data integration.</p>
