Description of the Basic Elements of a Metagraph Model Using the Granular-Protographic Approach

Abstract

The problem that is solved in this work is related to the fact that in previous versions of the formalization of the metagraph model, a single basis was not considered on the basis of which it would be possible to describe different elements of the model such as vertices, metavertices, and edges. This article proposes a granular-protographic model as such a basis. The prerequisites for combining the granular approach and the protographic model are considered. The main elements of the granular-protographic model are proposed: granule facets and granular elements of the protograph. The basic operations on elements of the granular-protographic model are also proposed: the signature fit operation and the granule organization operation. The main provisions of the annotated metagraph model are considered. A representation of the main elements of the metagraph model (vertices, metavertices, edges) is proposed using elements of the granular-protographic model and the operations introduced over them. A complex example of describing a metagraph using elements of the granular-protographic model is considered.
