Abstract <p>This paper is devoted to analyzing the use of high-speed gas separators, type GS51ShK, in pumping units. In the course of the studies, based on the operational data and on the results of a commissioning review, it has been established that at the rotational frequency ranging from 8880 to 10  000&#xa0;rpm, the service life of the high-speed gas separator, type GS51ShK, amounts to at least 1000&#xa0;days.</p>
