Possibility to Use a Digital Measuring Instrument for Monitoring the Thrust Half-Ring of the Crankshaft of the Yaroslavl Motor Plant Engine

Abstract
The nominal and permissible geometric parameters for defect detection and incoming quality inspection of crankshaft thrust bearing half-rings for engines manufactured by the Yaroslavl Motor Plant are considered. Based on the estimate of the defect parameters, it is recommended to replace the MK-25 micrometer used for inspection with a SI-25TsG caliper indicator with a digital head with a reading accuracy of 0.001 mm.
