Study on the Influence of Lubricants on the Technological Process of Cold Heading of Heat-Resistant Alloy Rivets
摘要
Abstract
The article presents the results of a study on the influence of various lubricants on the process of cold heading of rivets made of the heat-resistant nickel-based alloy VZh98. Using finite element modeling in the QForm 10.3.3 software package, critical zones were identified in the contact region between the carbide inserts and the shrink-fit retaining ring. It is shown that the highest efficiency in reducing the forming forces of rivets, and consequently the contact stresses in the tooling, is achieved when using the ONV120 lubricant.
