Studies of the Tribological Characteristics of Carbon Materials for GTE Seals
摘要
Considering that an urgent task is to reduce the wear of sealing elements, which leads to losses in the efficiency of gas turbine engines and an increase in the cost of maintenance, studies were conducted on pyrographite isotropic and bulk carbon nanostructured material according to the disc-pad friction scheme. Regression models for calculating the wear intensity and friction coefficient are proposed. The analysis conducted of the results of experimental studies of materials showed that confirmation of the stability of the friction coefficient and bulk temperature in the steady-state operating mode during long-term operation of the friction pair was obtained, and the wear of the sample of the contact pair of bulk carbon nanostructured material with nitriding is significantly lower than that of the contact pair of bulk carbon nanostructured material with a steel disc with a VK-25M coating.
