On Komatiite-Like Volcanics on the Eastern Margin of the East European Platform: Inferences from Chrome Spinel Compositions
摘要
Abstract—
Patterns of the chemical composition of accessory chrome spinels in Mg-high volcanic rocks penetrated by the Vostochno-Askinskaya 1 deep well were studied to determine their original nature. A comparison with published data made it possible to reconstruct their complex formation history. At the first stage, a komatiitic magma crystallized, followed by the formation of picrites, and finally by aqueous-carbonate metamorphism leading to chrysotile + tremolite + magnetite + calcite paragenesis.
