Abstract <p>The third finding of ikaite in Holocene sediments of the Chukchi Sea is described. Based on the results of a comprehensive study (mineral, chemical, and isotopic composition), a conclusion is made about the formation under low temperatures with the participation of carbon from the oxidation of organic matter and methane.</p>
