摘要

Abstract

The work presents the results of numerical experiments on small-angle neutron scattering for solid nanoparticles with sizes of 8 and 80 nm using pulsed neutron sources. Numerical models are developed for the instrument designed for the DARIA compact neutron source and the YuMO spectrometer with the pulsed neutron source IBR-2M currently in operation. In both cases, a time-of-flight neutron detector is used, which implements radial spatial resolution through concentric rings that integrate the scattering intensity over the azimuthal angle. The implementation of the small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) method in the DARIA compact neutron source offers a resolution and pulse range comparable to the YuMO spectrometer, but it lags behind by an order of magnitude in terms of brightness.
