摘要

Abstract

Data on the morphology and genetics of different populations of whitefish of the forms/species Coregonus lavaretus pidschian from the water bodies of the middle reaches of the Yenisei River basin and the Bolshoi and Maly Yenisei river basins are presented. All samples belong to the low-scaled and multi-scaled forms/species of whitefish. The low-scaled lacustrine whitefishes inhabit lakes located in the upper reaches of rivers, while the multi-scaled (medium-scaled) lacustrine-riverine (riverine) forms of whitefish inhabit water bodies located downstream, closer to the main dispersal route. Analysis of the mtDNA ND1 gene structure showed that whitefishes from the mountainous part of the Yenisei River basin (Bolshoi Yenisei and Maly Yenisei rivers) belonged to several phylogenetic lineages. The newly studied forms/species of whitefish from the Lake Tsagaan-Nuur in the Maly Yenisei River basin include haplotypes of two distant phylogenetic lineages, indicating repeated colonization of the lake.
