Abstract <p>The confrontation between Yugoslavia and the COMINFORM led to turmoil in many Yugoslav diplomatic missions in the world. The result was the transition of several tenths of Yugoslav diplomatic officers to the side of the COMINFORM, after which they mostly stayed to live abroad as the COMINFORM emigrants.</p>
