Abstract <p>The diplomatic representatives of the Entente in Russia did not recognize the Bolshevik government, and therefore in 1918 they moved not to the new capital Moscow but to Vologda. At the beginning of the military intervention of the Entente, the diplomatic corps moved further north in Russia and finally stopped in Arkhangel’sk. Thus, from August 1918 to September 1919, the legation of the Kingdom of Serbia was also located there, and, after the creation of the new state, it was renamed the legation of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes. Minister M. Spalajković and chargé d’affaires J. Tadić maintained special diplomatic relations with the anti-Bolshevik Provisional Government of the Northern Region. The activities of the Serbian legation in Arkhangel’sk mainly concerned the Reserve Battalion of the Volunteer Corps of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, which was under the joint command of the Allied forces.</p>
