Ensuring Raw Material Sovereignty as a Problem Field of EU Economic Policy

This work performs a study of the problems of resource provision for industrial transformation of EU countries. The purpose of the article is to explore the concept of resource sovereignty as part of the overall policy of achieving strategic autonomy of the European Union. The analysis was based on a cross-country comparison of the levels of import dependence, patent activity and recycling development. These results structure various economic policy measures applied in European countries and identify the intersectoral sphere of ensuring resource sovereignty as a field for deepening European integration.
