<p>A numerical analysis of highly asymmetric scattering phase functions was performed using a modified method of average fluxes. To solve the radiative transfer equation, the delta-Eddington approximation is used. As an example, radiative-conductive heat transfer in a flat layer of an anisotropically scattering medium was calculated for the Henyey – Greenstein phase function and the transport approximation.</p>

A numerical analysis of highly asymmetric scattering phase functions was performed using a modified method of average fluxes.
