Abstract <p>In this communication, we pay attention to the most common errors in pre-neurotherapy (NT) resting EEG (pre-NT rs-EEG) recording and analysis that reduce NT efficiency. This communication discusses the conditions for recording and analyzing rs-EEG: individual adjustment of rs-EEG frequency ranges, justification of the location of the electrodes, the role of electromyography (EMG) of the tension of the forehead muscles, the duration of rs-EEG recording, justification of the state of open or closed eyes, hormonal status, and body position. The need to take into account each aspect of the recording and analysis of rs-EEG is discussed and justified, considering how these conditions could affect NT efficiency.</p>
