Prevailing Phenomena in Cosmonaut Communication within the Crew–Mission Control Center Communication System and Wanted Modifications

Abstract
The paper describes several phenomena of the crew’s mission control center (MCC) communication system established in the CONTENT space experiment that is attributable to a cosmonaut’s psycho-emotional conditions and necessitating socio-psychological support. The authors propound their vision of social psychological support in the context of intergroup communication, as well as thoughts of how the MCC communication might be improved. The recommended approaches would enable continuous psychological support to cosmonauts in orbit and reduce the psycho-emotional strain in MCC operators.
