Enumerator-Arguments As a Language Tool for Defining Loops

Abstract
A new syntactic construct to define processing cycles for collections and series of values in the form of expressions is proposed as part of the development of new programming languages and improvement of existing ones. The proposed construct uses index enumerators as arguments of operators and collection processing functions. These enumerator-arguments make it possible to express operators and functions for processing slices of collections or entire collections that are superior to second-order functions in conciseness and readability of their source code and are not inferior to list comprehension operators.
