Modeling the Dynamics of the Characteristics of Snow Cover Formation Regime on the Territory of the Russian Federation. 4. Scenario Projecting of Changes in Snow Cover Characteristics in the 21st Century
摘要
A methodology for scenario projecting of changes in snow cover characteristics on the territory of the Russian Federation in the 21st century has been developed, based on the use of the land surface model SWAP in combination with scenario projections of long-term dynamics of meteorological element fields calculated using five global climate models. The developed methodology was used to calculate fields of climatic values of maximum annual snow water equivalent and the duration of snow cover on the territory of the Russian Federation for three projection climatic periods and various climate change scenarios in the 21st century. Features of the dynamics of climatic values of snow cover characteristics up to 2100 for the main regions of the Russian Federation (the European territory of Russia, Western Siberia, Eastern Siberia and the Far East) are analyzed.
