Long-Term Variability of the Aufeis Area in the Selenga River Basin and Its Main Hydrometeorological Factors
摘要
Abstract
Landsat and Sentinel-2 satellite images have been used to estimate long-term variability in aufeis areas in various parts of the Selenga River basin from 1990 to 2024. A downward trend in aufeis area (3.5% over 10 years) has been identified. Statistically significant correlations were found between aufeis area and air temperature in December, March, and April, as well as precipitation during the preceding warm period.
