Features of Beam Attenuation Coefficient Profiles at 660 nm in Lake Teletskoye: Expedition in August 2023
摘要
Abstract
For the first time, profiles of the beam attenuation coefficient at a wavelength of 660 nm were obtained for the entire water area of Lake Teletskoye (northern, central and southern parts) in the summer period under conditions of a formed thermocline. The limits of variability of this optical characteristic in three layers of the lake (the upper mixed layer, the temperature jump layer and below it) were determined. The pre-estuary areas and deepwater regions down to a probing depth of 150 m were studied separately. As a result of the studies, a layer of increased “turbidity” was discovered at a depth of 20–40 m throughout the lake from south to north, associated with a water temperature layer of 5.0 ± 0.5°C.
