Abstract <p>Based on the models of effective viscosity and drift-flux, semi-empirical correlations for the hindered motion velocity of solid and gaseous particles on the volume fraction of the dispersed phase at low Reynolds numbers have been obtained, showing a high correlation with experimental data.</p>
