Localization of Volatile Fission Products on Pilot-Scale Ceramic Block-Type Contact Elements
摘要
Abstract
The efficiency of capturing cesium, iodine, and molybdenum compounds in a gas purification unit equipped with multifunctional ceramic block-type contact elements scaled to pilot-industrial dimensions has been evaluated. The dynamic sorption capacity of the elements was determined under conditions close to those of high-temperature reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel. Chemisorption products were identified by X‑ray phase analysis.
