Trapping of Volatile Fission Products by Modular Cellular Ceramic Contact Elements with an Applied Active Layer of Calcium Oxide
摘要
A technology was proposed for the synthesis of highly porous modular cellular ceramic contact elements with an applied active layer of ultrafine calcium oxide powder for trapping some volatile fission products of nuclear fuel. The efficiency of trapping molybdenum, tellurium, and ruthenium in the form of vapors of their oxides was investigated. High-temperature chemisorption products were identified, and the dynamic sorption capacity of the contact elements was determined.
