Coagulating Action of Homo- and Copolymers Based on Acrylamide in the Extraction of Butadiene–Styrene Rubber from Latex

The possibility of using copolymers of N,N-diallyl-N,N-dimethylammonium chloride with acrylamide and polyacrylamides, characterized by high efficiency in coagulating action, is demonstrated in the technology for extracting butadiene–styrene rubber from latexes. The influence of the consumption of these polymers, the acidifying agents, the concentration of the dispersed phase, and the temperature on the completeness of rubber extraction is studied.
