摘要

The determining influence of the microstructure elements of the Mg–Ca alloy on the general trend of its corrosion degradation is demonstrated. The obtained results indicate lower corrosion activity of the Mg–0.8Ca alloy sample in the mammalian cell culture medium compared to a 0.9% NaCl solution. The effect of the corrosion products formed on the surface of the material on its degradation rate is evaluated. The mechanism of alloy bioresorption in vitro is established.
