Synthesis and Anti-Icing Properties of Urea–Glycerin–Water Compositions
摘要
The visual–polythermal analysis method is used to study phase equilibria in sections of the urea–glycerol–water system at temperatures from 0 to –47°C. The ratio of urea to glycerol in the sections varies from 3 : 1 to 1 : 3. Compositions are identified that form low-temperature eutectics with ice, with good melting capacity with respect to ice, promising as a basis for new anti-icing reagents.
