Basic Simulation Methods for Collisions in Particle-Saturated Flows
摘要
Abstract—
This paper presents a review of the main simulation methods of collisions for particle-saturated flows formed during the operation of various chemical process equipment. For example, such problems are relevant for mathematical description of the mixing process of granular components when developing the theoretical basis for designing mixing equipment. The known simulation methods, both numerical and analytical, are extended to two cases of particle collisions in working volumes of the equipment (grinders, mixers, fluidized bed devices, etc.), in particular, collision of one particle with another and collision of particle with the wall.
