摘要

Abstract

In the presented work, the influence of the heating rate of phosphorus-containing raw materials on the chemical and energy–technological processes of thermal dissociation of carbonates occurring during their high-temperature firing is considered and a mathematical model is proposed that allows considering a wide range of changes in the parameters of the kinetic equations of the chemical and energy-technological processes of dissociation of carbonates. Using the proposed model, a series of computational experiments are carried out aimed at identifying the relationship between the heating rate of phosphorus-containing ore samples and the evolution of the fields of carbonate concentration, conversion rate, and temperature gradient. This study is aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of chemical and energy–technological processes of thermal preparation of phosphorus-containing ore raw materials; it can increase the economic profitability of ore treatment for the production of phosphorus in energy-intensive ore-thermal furnaces. The formation of optimal regimes from the point of view of energy efficiency will reduce fuel and energy costs for the thermal preparation of raw materials, as well as reduce the overall economic costs of production using thermal decomposition of carbonates. The revealed regularities may make it possible to develop energy-efficient modes of thermal preparation of phosphorus-containing ore raw materials by intensifying heat- and mass-transfer processes during high-temperature firing, reducing production costs, and improving product quality.
