Study of the Combustion Process of Methane Hydrate Taking into Account the Incomplete Evaporation of Water
摘要
The work presents a mathematical model of the combustion process of a gas hydrate sample, taking into account the nonequilibrium nature of its dissociation process. The system of basic equations is constructed on the basis of the laws of conservation of mass (for the entire system and each of its components), energy, and momentum, and is also supplemented by conditions on the moving boundary of the phase transition. Based on a numerical solution using the large-particle method, the temperature fields of the system and concentrations of the components of the gas mixture are constructed. It is established that with a decrease in the proportion of water turning into steam, there is an increase in the temperature at the combustion front, as well as the speed of movement of the combustion front.
