<b>Abstract</b>— <p>In order to assess the possibility of using magnetic properties for classifying meteorites, the main magnetic properties (magnetic susceptibility, saturation magnetization, and their temperature dependences, coercivity characteristics, FORC diagrams) of six different meteorites have been measured. The results obtained showed that the magnetic properties studied differ significantly not only for different types of meteorites, but also within one type. A conclusion was drawn about the possibility of using the studied magnetic properties for additional classification of meteorites.</p>
