Determination of the Contact Pressure and the Implantation Depth of a Fretting Particle into the Half-Space of a Bearing Coupling and Implementation of Results

Based on the analytical and geometrical models developed earlier, the values of the contact pressure and the implantation depth of a fretting particle in the bearing coupling half-space are determined. The implementation of the results of the proposed solution makes it possible to determine the values of contact pressures and the depths of implantation of particles in samples with a copper film deposited by frictional rubbing and without it.
