Energy–Power Calculation of Multichannel Extrusion of Wires

Abstract
We propose a mathematic model of direct multichannel extrusion of a wire, which makes it possible to calculate energy–power parameters of the process. In developing the mathematical model, simulation based on the QForm software has been performed, in which the dependences of the discharge rate and the pressing force for a wire of diameter 2.0 mm on the number of matrix channels have been obtained.
