Investigation of Finishing and Hardening Treatment by the Method of Software-Controlled Rolling Using a Toroidal Roller

Abstract—
The stage of preparing an experiment on the implementation of finishing and hardening treatment using the method of surface plastic deformation on a cylindrical workpiece using a CNC milling machine is considered. An experiment was conducted, during which a relationship between the microhardness of the surface layer, the hardened layer depth, the surface roughness, and the values of the components of the processing mode was established.
