摘要

Abstract—The strength properties, thawing time, and structure of an ice-based composite material with up to 6 wt % basalt fibers 40 mm in length and 18 μm in diameter are studied under field conditions at an average daily temperature of –45°C. An increase in the filler content is shown to cause a linear increase in the bending strength and the thawing time of fibroice, which is explained by high filler–matrix adhesion and a decrease in the ice crystal size when the filler is introduced.
